My peeps woke up early today and went to the hospital to welcome me into this world. Everybody seemed very happy to see me when I was born (at 7:48 AM), but I made it very clear that I was not comfortable. I was somehow restricted where I came from, but it was warm and I never had to worry about food. As soon as I arrived, they disconnected me from my food supply and it took them forever to clean me and wrap me up (and it was terribly cold).
My daddy was supposed to capture the big moment with the camcorder: he did turn the camcorder on, pointing it into the right direction, but he didn’t press the record button. It took him a while to realize that he was not recording, so he is the only one who remembers my first minutes in this world.
My mommy only saw me for a few moments before they took me away (to weigh me – 3.23 kg – and poke me), then they kept her a whole hour before bringing her to our room. At that point the wait was pretty much as long as my entire life. I was not very happy with the new way of getting my food. After some failed negotiations I simply fell asleep because I was too tired. This was the hardest day of my life.
